From the size of our fleet and early adoption of technology, to our logistics division and Georgia-based compound, CBP  is a fully-integrated construction company – ready to take on projects of varying sizes and degrees of difficulty to exceed the expectations of our clients.

Based in Statham, Georgia – just outside of Athens – CBP boasts an expansive fleet of heavy equipment manufactured by the world’s largest maker of construction and mining equipment, diesel and natural gas engines, and industrial gas turbines: Caterpillar®. We pride ourselves on our top-of-the-line, late model equipment – which numbers in the hundreds – and while we can tackle most jobs with our current fleet, CBP is well-positioned to acquire more, if needed for any specific job, through our long-standing relationship with our Caterpillar dealer, Yancey Bros. Co.

Our fleet is well-maintained by our maintenance department, which is housed on-site at our Georgia headquarters and comes complete with a 6-bay maintenance shop, as well as a fleet of support vehicles that can service equipment at job sites throughout the Southeast.

GPS Technology

CBP is proud of our standing as one of the early adopters of Global Positioning Software (GPS) equipment in our fleet. This state-of-the-art technology allows us to more efficiently and accurately complete projects by taking an architect’s design, converting it to an electronic file and building a site model. The model is then uploaded into our tractor or bulldozer’s GPS unit and the screen shows the operator how to build the site, without the use of a surveyor. Our site supervisors also carry handheld GPS units to further insure job accuracy. If a change must be made to the site design, it is easily loaded onto the GPS unit without unnecessary delays to the project timeline.

CBP is pleased to feature its own logistics department, CBP Logistics, LLC. Tasked with transporting equipment to and from worksites, often across state lines, CBP Logistics features a fleet of low boys, flat bed trailers, and tractor trailers that can move our 300 models of heavy equipment, whenever and wherever needed.

Headquartered in Statham – near the city of Athens, Georgia, the CBP compound consists of our corporate offices, six bay maintenance building, fueling station, storage hangar, and “the yard” to house our fleet of heavy equipment. Our position in Northeast Georgia makes us centrally located to service clients with ease in our home state, as well as Alabama, Florida, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee.
