ASSISTANT MECHANIC

We are seeking to add a Mechanic Assistant who would also be required to receive training to operate heavy equipment (i.e., bulldozers, articulated trucks, excavators, etc.) to our team. The qualified applicant will assist CBP on heavy civil construction projects with our valued customers in the environmental construction sector. This position is based in Sneads, FL.

ASSISTANT MECHANIC

This position entails working with a highly skilled Senior Field Mechanic and assisting them in servicing and repairing heavy equipment. The responsibilities of this position are as follows.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in performing regular scheduled maintenance

  • Assist with various equipment repairs

  • Operate heavy equipment once trained

Job Requirements:

  • Commitment to safety required

  • Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license

  • Successful completion of pre-employment drug test, medical/physical capability requirements, and background check

  • Position will require weekend work

  • Must be willing to work over-time
