Jamie Stephens has over 25 years of experience with CBP Environmental and has assisted on over 30 landfill and coal ash projects. He started his career with CBP in 1998 as a heavy equipment operator and quickly moved up to Assistant Superintendent in 2002. Jamie excelled in leadership and was promoted to Superintendent in 2007 where he was responsible for managing multiple projects and the field personnel for each project. Jamie offered extensive experience and leadership on our landfill and coal ash projects and would help Superintendents and Project Managers throughout our company. Because of his expertise, diligence, and leadership skills, Jamie was promoted to General Superintendent in 2022.
As General Superintendent, Jamie collaborates with project Superintendents and Project Managers to determine each project’s needs and to make sure the project runs effectively and efficiently. He manages the equipment fleet at each project, making sure that there is adequate equipment on the project site as well as tracking the status of all equipment. Jamie tracks material needs at all sites and assists with ordering materials when needed. He communicates with clients, quality control experts and project engineers during the course of the projects to ensure client satisfaction. In addition, Jamie regularly meets with and assists project Superintendents in creating deadlines and scheduling. He tracks the progress of each project and reports on the status to all members of the team.
Jamie is married to Michelle and they have two daughters, both in college. Jamie enjoys spending time with his daughters when not hard at work at CBP.
