Dr. Nolen Wood has built his career around mentoring, coaching and leading others to excel. Prior to joining CBP, Nolen graduated from the University of Georgia and then attended Southern Seminary where he earned his master’s degree. Nolen completed his Doctorate degree from Liberty University and is the Lead Pastor at Life Church of Athens. In addition, he has served as the Athens FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes) Area Director, is the Chaplain of the UGA men’s basketball team, and he is the former Assistant Head Basketball Coach at Boyce College. 

As the Corporate Pastor for CBP, Nolen offers spiritual guidance to employees who request it. He meets regularly with employees who request prayer and support for many of life’s challenges including health issues, family issues, and coping with the death of a loved one. He also assists company leadership by meeting with employees to gauge workplace satisfaction and offers insight to maintain a constructive and productive work environment. Additionally, he develops and provides training for our employees to foster character development and leadership skills to prepare each of them for success in their careers. 

Nolen is married to Ashley, and they have three children, McKenya, Spencer, and Nash.
